The SyFy channel premiered the movie Sharktopuson Saturday night. The movie was new, yet the cheesy plot line could have made it a B grade movie from earlier decades.

The premise of Sharktopus revolves around a creature that was made for the Navy.

The creature is half shark and half octopus.

The computer chip malfunctions and the creator of the Sharktopus can no longer control the creature.

The Sharktopus then goes around killing women who are wearing sexy bikinis

Sharktopus starred Eric Roberts. He knew the plot of the movie before he signed up, yet he still made a fun character.

The premise was strange, but if you like odd movies with women in bikinis then add Sharktopus to your list.

American Idol Runner-UP Crystal Bowersox Now Engaged To Brian Walker

Last season’s American Idol runner-up Crystal Bowersox is recovering magnificently from jilted love, it seems, and is set to marry a little-known musician named Brian Walker. While not much is known about her new flame, the two have been together just a short while but have recently announced their engagement and current plans to wed in October.

Bowersox’s ex, Tony Kusian, ended their relationship the night before the final American Idol show last May. The singer has an 18-month-old son with her now-ex, also named Tony. This will be the first -and hopefully last- marriage for both Crystal and Brian.

Friday nights will be dead next fall since CBS reported that they have canceled the show “Ghost Whisperer”.

Ghost Whisperer staring jennifer love hewitt, came on the air in 2005 and has seen pretty steady ratings.

Season 4 of Ghost Whisperer had a following of 10.6 million viewers watching each episode.

This season the ratings dropped drastically, so CBS decided to cancel the show and take it off the air.

The final episode of Ghost Whisperer is set scheduled to air on May 21st.

For fans of Ghost Whisperer, there is still a chance that the show may be picked up by a different network.

Over the past decade, the most successful movie franchise in the world has been the Harry Potter franchise.

This franchise, which has created 7 movies so far, has just released the trailer of its newest film, which is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows.

The new trailer, which was released yesterday on you tube, has already been watched by hundreds of thousands of fans across the world, which leads many to believe that the newest film in the series will be just as successful as the rest.

This film will be the last in the series and is expected to close out the adventures of Harry Potter.

Jesse Jackson Jr. Wants You To Know He’s Sorry

Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-Ill) has apologized to any supporters who may have been “disappointed” over allegations involving fund raising for for convicted former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich.

The allegations claim that one of Jackson’s fund-raisers purchased tickets for a woman described as a “social acquaintance” to fly her to Chicago.

The Chicago Sun-Times report goes on to state that “a major political fund-raiser” told federal authorities that Jackson personally directed him to offer Blagojevich millions of dollars in campaign cash in exchange for the appointment of Jackson to the Senate, to succeed President Obama.

Jackson has denied any wrong doing.

Dot Jones, the former professional women’s arm wrestler and also film actress, is back on the small screen in the new season of the hit show Glee. Jones is Shannon Biests, the head football coach at William McKinley High on the show. She is taking over for Coach Tanaka who was played last season by Patrick Gallagher.

Sources have said that Jones has been well recieved by fans and fellow castmates alike and was a hit at the Glee Season 2 premiere party in Los Angeles. There has not been any word if there are any musical numbers centered around Coach Bieste but Jones did state that she hopes to be able to sing a song along the lines of AC/DC on the show.

Lady Gaga killed two birds with one stone.

While continuing to catch the media’s attention with her choice of outfits, she is also conveying a message.

Her recent appearance wearing a dress made of meat was her way of protesting the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy.

She was expressing her dissatisfaction with Congress. She feels they are ignoring the Constitution and its protection of the rights of human beings.

She fears that humans will be treated as meat, which has no rights in the eyes of the law. She urges everyone to stand up for their freedoms for our future generations.

‘What’s everyone’s big problem with my meat dress?’ she asked during her Tuesday night show at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

‘Haven’t they seen me wear leather? Next time I’ll wear a tofu dress and the soy milk police will come after me.’

Of course celebs are chiming in with their thoughts on the odd dress.

Vegetarian singer KT Tunstall says, “I can’t find out for sure if it was real meat or not. I eat fish but I don’t eat mammals. As soon as I saw it, I thought, what is the difference between that and leather? Animals die needlessly for leather all the time.

I haven’t heard a legitimate reason why anyone would be offended by her wearing meat, except for vegans angry about animals being killed, which is fair enough.”

Sacha Baron Cohen is set to star as Freddie Mercury in a movie being made about the legendary lead singer of Queen who died in 1991 after complications from AIDS.

The movie will follow Mercury from the band’s early years to their unforgettable performance at the Live Aid Concert at Wembley Stadium in 1985.

The currently untitled movie will be written by Peter Morgan (“Frost/Nixon”, “The Queen”) and is set to begin filming next year.

GK Films and Tribeca Productions have already secured the rights to some of Queen’s greatest songs including ‘We Are the Champions’, and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’.

GK Films Graham King said about Mercury “Freddie Mercury was an awe-inspiring performer, so with Sacha in the starring role couple with Peter’s screenplay and the support of Queen, we have the perfect combination to tell the real story behind their success.”

No release date has been given yet.
